Asleep in the Light - Keith Green

You know, I wasn't exactly honest on the ride back from Tuscaloosa when I stated the album I'd want on a desert island. I really wanted to say "No Compromise" by Keith Green, which has this song on it. (Actually, I wanted The Ministry Years, which has ALL his songs on four CDs, but my rules excluded anthologies!)

Keith was THE man and we haven't seen the likes of him since. He was extremely intense and he veered toward legalism at times but no one else has ever written so many songs that put me on my face before God. Including this one. He's fresh on my mind because I've been immersed in him recently, reading the biography his wife wrote and listening to his music heavily. I hope to post a review this weekend.
